Hi everyone! If you would like us to host you, please read all our profile first and tell us which bit appeals to you, and which tasks you can help us with, (so we know you have actually read our profile and had a think about it). Available May - October. Minimum age 25. We prefer couples, but will consider singles, especially if DIY/gardening skills are involved! ABOUT US: We're a couple, in our early 60s. Healthy, active and young at heart. We've travelled all our adult lives, done loads of helpx-type placements (mainly in NZ, UK, Thailand and SA), and we've been self-employed for almost all of our working lives (teaching, music festival boutique, and Julie is still a professional horse trainer). We have eased-off now but still seem to be pretty busy. We love being active and involved, (yoga, karate, mtb, horse training, tennis, walking, running, exploring), and we love hosting on Helpx - it's a great way to keep meeting new people of different generations, keep learning new st...

We prefer couples, but will consider single travellers, especially if skilled. Check out our fantastic references, which clearly describe the kind of time you will enjoy here, in our big, lovely home and garden. We are a pretty colourful bunch of nice people composed of an austrian and a middle east family and long standing international friends. Actually living here permanently: Feri (1982), Lise (1975) and Mia (1942). The children Layla (2013) and Aisha (2015) are coming regularly to see us. We also have a lot of different visitors here from all over the world. We live here in Lower Austria at the beginning of the alps in one of the beautiful natural spring water protection areas of the city of Vienna. (100 km south of the city - by train within 1 hour). Its the last small village before the Höllental (hell canion) at the foot of the mountain Rax near the river Schwarza. We are on a hill, hidden behind ancient giant coniferous trees. The farm was built over 150 years ago as a guest house, then used as a simple farmhouse and then converted in the style of a century-turnvilla. From the original stable became another residential house. The old house is still very original (as 100 years ago) an...

My name is Catherine, and we have a nice house with pool on a hillside facing the sea in Liguria, an hour west of Genova. We also have a very nice, large, good looking Weimaraner dog who is often at home too, so liking dogs is important. We would like a young person to help with tasks including helping with the garden and household work, some shopping, cleaning up, watering plants and other small light jobs. Work is not more than 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. If that sounds interesting to you please contact us. We would like to have helpxers ( one at a time) from October 8. We will be happy to discuss the particulars answering your questions by whatsapp. We will take you on walks and some nearby place that are pretty. The beaches are very nice too here. And this is a fantastic place to start an exploration of Genova and the west of Liguria as there is good train service, and we will be happy to drive you to the station which is close by. Please contact us if you are avail...

Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application. This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive. We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mud brick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian. Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with learni...

We are in the process of renovating an old house in the Pyrenees. There is only decorating to do such as stripping paint of walls and woodwork, and repainting. There might be the occasional carpentry to do also, nothing to complicated. We need help 5 hours per day, five days per week. We live in a small village with some shops and a climbing centre and a river just opposite the house. We have a quite a size garden where we grow vegetables, fruit bushes and trees. Here, we have spectacular mountain views on our doorstep, hiking trails through the mountains and forests, cycling paths, and skiing in the winter months. We love company of other people, and love having visitors. There would be plenty of chances to be alone, if that is what one is looking for. We offer homestay experience. We can lend you a bicycle to do your own exploring, you can hike, take a bus or train to go further afield. We also like to explore the area and show it to our visitors. We are located 10 km from Spai...

I have a kitchen, a room for guests and two bathroom. In summer it is very hot and we can put tents near the house. The land has little vineyard, fruit trees, big oaks, olive trees, gardens. There are also chickens, turtles, cats, wild animals. Work depends firstly on you, independence, skills, season and projects. Anyway I need always help at home, you can keep clean house, cook. In the field, sometime need prepare wood for fireplace, gardening and to prune. Food generally is provided and you choose your free days. The timing of factories, follow the cycle of nature. I like independent people, who can organize themselves and take the initiative. I emphasize you it is important to find interest in some kind of jobs you can do here. otherwise you could bore you, and others. The spirit of your approach is as important as the work its...

We grow organic table grapes, a few fruit trees, chickens and a few pigs. This is a real farm experience, mostly working in the vineyard, with some fun too. There is biking to town, swimming in the ocean or our lake, fishing, basketball, volleyball, hiking, nature walks, beach strolling and look for fossils at Blue Beach, camp fires , rope swing in our little lake, take in the fantastic views, sunsets, star gazing, internet, phone and go to nearby towns such as Wolfville and Hantsport as well as the rest of the Annapolis Valley with the local bus. The accommodations and kitchen are separate for helpers cooking with an abundance of food. This is a more independent farm stay. Now booking for grape harvest, end of August through September. Hope you can make it here.

We are looking for English Teacher voluntarily and 2 helpers to help our homestay We are looking for English Teacher who can come fall in love with Hanoi city, the sweetest children that get so excited to learn English with foreigners. Please come to and join with our center. I run a non-profit English center in Hanoi city which is opened to help most children as well as students who don`t have a lot of money to join in an English course. We realize the importance of English and having fun while learning. According to the area located in downtown, we have no tourists and very few foreigners. The students have no opportunities to use English in conversation so we love for all volunteers to come and help them practice speaking out loud with games and activities while learning new materials. Generally, the students’ level of being spoken English is at a beginner level. If you are not a native speaker but you have experiences in teaching English or are confident that you can teach, you...

Plant Based Diet only property. I am approx 30 mins drive South of Cairns. Do you like to prepare healthy plant based meals for groups of people? I need a health conscious person to run the kitchen and make delicious, nutritious meals, whilst the rest of us are out in the garden or shed. I am at a camp, not a regular house, my guests often sleep in my retired hilux camper with double bed. Some guests ask to stay in tents, Many have stayed in their campers, rooftop tents and swags too. My favourite guests get introduced to my kitchen, after seeing all the appliances and supplies, adjust the camp kitchen to their liking and take over. This is when I can get much more design work done and planning around the property. Too many times, I get over hungry with no food ready, so I often eat quick naughty fast foods. So yeah, if you are a plant based chef wannabe, I would like to hear from you. You would be great help in my efforts to create an Organic Off Grid, Self Sufficient Green Have...

We are establishing an arborteum on our rural property near Wellington and are looking for some fit people to help us with planting small trees and making tracks. Our home is tucked away in the hills that cradle the Plimmerton village 30 minutes north of downtown Wellington . Our home is just over 3km along a country road to the village and the seaside. The rail station into central Wellington is in the village. Surrounded by hills our property is secluded. A walking track just along the road leads to the village. Our extensive garden and bush is tranquil although early in the morning the native birds can make a lot of noise. Visiting rabbits and hares pop in occasionally to steal the odd blade of grass . We, Helen and Ian, are in our late 60's. Proud parents of three grown children, their partners and eight grandchildren. Ian is retired but he still works long hours on his hobbies and Helen is now practically retired but still does a little work from home. We are both passion...

I can't see the world, but the world can come see me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the helpers who came from United Kingdom-England, France, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Welcome Helpers. We are a family of 5 living in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Sue is the founder of Peaceful Hollow. Her daughter Ruth moved to the Hollow later as well as her husband Tim and their 2 daughters. Our hollow is quite with no neighbors in sight. There are no city lights, and you can see every star on a clear night! Our homestead consists of three cabins, Sue's cabin, Tim & Ruth's cabin and the very small Guest Cabin. Also, there is an upstairs private guestroom with private entrance. We have a lot you can be involved in, knowledge to share, friendships to build, and opportunities for growth. Below are our routines and some projects. We would love to involve you! - Caring for our chickens, cat, dog, goats, mulefoot pigs and honeybees. Sue is a f...

Hi everyone. My name's Claud I'm a beekeeper and a horse trainer I live on a small island south of Greece called Kythira. The island is full of beautiful beaches and green small forests. I owe nearly 100 beehives and I need help maintaining the equipment and taking care of them. I also help a friend ride and train and take care of his horses. I'm constantly busy and almost always not at home. Ideally I would need help for a few hours a day. I have a car we can share if you have a driving licence. So you can explore around. Or I can be your guide in my free time.

Hello, thank you for looking at our listing. We've not hosted helpers through this site for a year but have hosted and have more recent references on a sofa-surfing app if you need to see more. **We are especially looking for people with carpentry and building skills but plenty of garden and organising work if you're unskilled.** We are Cathy (45) and Leo (who is 12 years old.) We live in a lovely, but messy little cottage in a very beautiful glen. Unfortunately at the moment there's several issues with the plumbing so please do not apply if you need a daily hot shower! We like to have several helpers so friends are welcome to apply, alternatively we are happy to take single travellers - but please be aware you may need to share a sleeping area with other helpers (who we will ensure are the same sex and similar age to you.) The accommodation is extremely basic, the house is in disarray and I currently resemble a headless chicken for much of the day! Only apply if you are comfor...

Update: I'm quite keen on anyone with: - A desire to help bring the garden into order (weeding, clearing, dealing with plant growth) - CAD (computer aided drafting/design) experience in the short term, am particularly keen on finishing up an OpenSCAD model. and sticking to FOSS tools. - Patience and a desire to learn ... We live in an inner Hobartian suburb (3-4km from the CBD) on a 1/4 acre block in a 1930s weather board ex-farmhouse (now suburban dream house ;-). On top of work and raising a daughter and two sons, I'm trying to maintain a garden and house and can always use help. We are five: Bernd and Dani, with children Gypsy Anna (2003), Leon (2013) and Felix (2017). There are spare bikes for getting around, a few bus routes nearby and it's not a long walk into town (4km or 30-40mins) or the North Hobart cafe strip (1km or 10-20 mins). The bikes may need maintenance though, as it will depend on how long since last ridden by guests, so bike maintenance skills are a plus if you...

We have a small farm. We moved from the city to produce our own food. We have sheep. We are trying to grow new saplings and trees and establish a food forest. We are conscious people who are permaculture certified and registered in the organic farm network. We have a sustainability-based perspective. We would like to host volunteers who will help us with these issues. You will carry the experiences of being part of a real farm throughout your life. You will gain wonderful experiences on the farm with Selçuk, the master of everything, and Kadriye, the cook of delicious meals. To make bread, you need flour, yeast and an oven. A person who produces everything himself learns to live without needing anyone. This is a great freedom. We have a lot of wwoof experiences. Thank you for read our profile..

Kia ora! My home is in the middle of beautiful Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native bush, birds and organic gardens (no shops etc.). We built our earth house with local clay and roof gardens. This place is very private; a lifestyle block to enjoy nature and quiet living, 330 km North of Auckland, 20 min from Taipa Beach. The subtropical Far North of Aotearoa/New Zealand has important historic sights. I am also part of the Honeymoon Valley landcare group (honeymoonvalleylandcare.org.nz). We protect native forest, birds, lizards and insects by trapping predators and eradicating invasive weeds. You can help with chopping firewood, organic gardening, landscaping: mowing, brush-cutting, earth work, compost-making, renovating (fixing things, basic carpentry, painting), sewing, cleaning, ... . I have chickens; make bread; home-brew beer; organic apple cider vinegar, sauerkraut (when in season), preserve fruit, collect seeds, and when possible, stock my freezer with wild meat. I use per...

Less than 50 km from Rome, with frequent train and bus service from Rome and Fiumicino airport, the place is about 3,5 km from the center town of Salisano.

Come enjoy Central Kentucky and stay on an American farm! We are centrally located in the United States. Major cities like Louisville, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati are all within a couple hours drive. Chicago and Atlanta are 6-8 hours away for the weekend. We raise Kiko meat goats and had 32 kids for the 2023-2024 kidding season. We are expecting similar numbers for the upcoming 24-25 kidding season. We also have a horse, two dogs, and two cats. We have hosted exchanges in the past from countries including Germany, Spain, Colombia, and, Switzerland, Canada, Denmark, and The Netherlands. We enjoy having people from diverse cultures live with us. My wife (Carolina) and I met indirectly through an exchange program. We have one daughter (Elena), an exchange daughter (Jolina) and some nieces and nephews who sometimes visit. We would love for someone to come stay with us and help on our farm.

INTRODUCTION... Hello my name's Linda. I am a Queens English speaking intelligent lady, in her early 60's. Animal LOVER. Previously had lived in incredibly touristiky tacky Marmaris in Turkey more than 16 years running private boat and fishing charters. BUT NOW on with my next about turn adventure and BIG life change having bought a very old part renovated Cortijo/FARMHOUSE in Spain, Andulucia, Granada Province on the beautiful but windy Costa Tropical famous for its exotic fruit and vegetable growing. I am 7km inland from the sea a 15/20 minutes by car journey down the gulley's mountain track from the Barranco/Ravine and Rambla/Riverbed to the coasts traditional fishing village Castell de Ferro, officially named as one of the Magical Villages of Spain on the coast below the sea and mountainous Alpujarra's and Sierra Nevada's. The Cortijo is mostly renovated and large, she stands solitary on the slopes of a low mountain lea below Mount Lujar, I am at 350meters above sea level. Amazing...

From 13 Aug - 1 Sept we can provide independent accommodation, modern and comfortable. with one large bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, wood heater and balcony with lovely views.
